"...he'll come back Trinity, I know he will..."
The Man I Cure
Two lonely nurses fall dependent
on their male captive
Based on the Russian folktale, The Soldier and Death, The Man I Cure is a
potent fairytale exploring repressed sexuality, unrequited desire and Western
gender expectations.
A pig-headed soldier crashes through the window of an
abandoned sanatorium. After an altercation with Death he now comes face to face with two maniacal nurses.
Treatment begins with institutional macaroni, but their guilty fantasies turn sour when they discover
his magical secret... for which there is
no cure.

...Highly original and accomplished piece of complete theatre.
The Man I Cure pulls back the surface of the sensory world to tap
into something altogether more thought-provoking and disturbing,
whilst at the same time managing to be great entertainment.
